On March 21, 2024, at the Faculty of Public Health, Ubon Ratchathani University (Thailand), the signing ceremony of the membership agreement for the Public Health Education Institute Network (PHEIN) in the Lower Mekong Basin (LMB) took place, including FOB International Cosmetic Skin Research Institute (FICI), An Giang Medical College, Bac Lieu Medical College, Institute (JAMWEI) and the University of Cuu Long. The event was within the framework of the Conference Program and Re-signing of the PHEIN Council Memorandum of Understanding from March 20 – 22, 2024 at Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat, Thailand.

Attending the event included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phassakon Nuntapanich – Chairman of LBM – PHEIN, Specialist level II Dr. Doan Tan Buu – Director of Dong Thap Department of Health; Specialist level II Dr. Nguyen Cong Cuu – President of Dong Thap Medical College; MSc. Nguyen Van Nguyen and MSc. Huynh Thi Nga – Leaders of FOB International Cosmetic Dermatological Institute (FICI) and leaders of PHEIN member organizations including Ubon Ratchathani University, An Giang Medical College, Bac Lieu Medical College, Institute (JAMWEI) and the University of Cuu Long.

The expanded signing program of the LBM-PHEIN member network aims to concretize PHEIN’s vision and strategy, develop health policies, strengthen the capacity of the network of public health institutes, and collaborate and develop teaching and training programs in the lower Mekong region.
